This article analyzes credit risks, focusing mainly on the NPL ratio of commercial banks, credit risk assessment and management mechanisms, and risk management theory. The article also presents theoretical views on the topic expressed in scientific research works by foreign and domestic scientists, and scientific conclusions on minimizing credit risks are presented as a result of the studies.
